Notes
This species is known from Papua New Guinea, whilst Australian specimens were considered to be Y. sabina. However, in 2016 it was established that Y. algina is also found in far north Queensland, down to about Coen. It has also been shown that some breeding stock used to supply butterfly houses was algina, originating from Cape York. Fortunately for me I had photographed some such specimens in the butterfly houses at Kuranda and Sydney Wildlife World, so I’ve been able to increase my species count by one.
