Notes

This is not a butterfly I’ve come across often. I first saw one flying around a shrub in the park across the road from the Botanic Gardens on my first trip to Cairns in October 2005. When it landed I was able to get a few photos with my trusty little point-and-shoot camera. 

And that was it until March 2017, when I saw a few of them in a little clearing in the rainforest just off the Clohesy River Road, on the inland side of Kuranda.
