Notes
I usually see the occasional specimen of this species around sunny spots alongside creeks in the rainforest near Cairns. They have a slow, gliding flight and settle often, but more often than not out of reach of my camera. Every now and then I’ve been able to get shots of these butterflies, though few of them are what I’d call decent photos.
