Notes
This is another species that I first saw thanks to Bob Miller, who found three pupae at the base of a tree close to Tolga, near Atherton. All three hatched to produce males, two of which I photographed before releasing. It’s a shame none of them was a female.
So far I’ve only managed to get one photo of a wild adult, which was sitting high up on the hilltop at Spring Mountain – too high for me to get a good shot.
