Notes
This is a really pretty butterfly. There were quite a lot of them around on my first visit to Cairns, but they spent a lot of time flying around trees. I had most luck early in the mornings, when they often settled on the ground.
The place I’ve most often seen them is in the park directly across the road from the Cairns Botanic Gardens, along the edge of the tree-line near the boardwalk. Unfortunately I’ve never seen them is such numbers as I did on that first trip.
