Notes
I used to see a lot of these butterflies around the North Sydney area, and I’ve seen a couple in the Botanic Gardens in the city. They don’t seem to be as easy to find in Western or South-Western Sydney, but I suspect they could show up just about anywhere in the metropolitan area.
This species can be found right through the winter. They fly in dull weather, even in light rain; overcast weather makes them more likely to settle for photos.
