Synonyms

This species was previously classified as Candalides cyprotus pallescens, then Cyprotides cyprotus pallescens.

Notes

I saw two or three pallescens hilltopping at Spring mountain, near Brisbane in November 2008.  At the time they were considered to belong to a subspecies of Cyprotides cyprotus, with the main difference being that these were much larger.  In 2023 pallescens was reclassified as a species in its own right.
